Another day

        We had big hopes of getting out of the Cardiac ICU today but he keeps throwing up bile. They did an upper GI on him today and it all came back normal. They told us that sometimes when the arteries are mal-positioned that the intestines can be also. We were happy that was not the case with Cohen. The plan is to remove the feeding tube to the stomach rather than the intestine and see if he can stop throwing up. The upper GI did show severe reflux so he is on Zantac to help with that. Hopefully when he can get his feeding tube out it won't be so bad. Chest tubes should come out tomorrow.
