Holding my baby and loving it

  This morning they pulled the pacing wires out and the RA line! Getting excited to hold the little guy. I have to wait a few hours to make sure the RA line will clot. Right now there is quite a bit of blood drainage. The plan was to take out 2 of the 3 chest drains but due to leakage at the site we are holding off a few more days. Since surgery he has had a very good heart rate and rhythm. They have started him on his feeds but have had to start and stop various times due to him vomiting bile. Hopefully we can work out his feeding issues soon. At 1:00pm I got to hold him. So sweet and we both loved every minute! Another special moment when Ashlyn and Trey got to meet their new brother. They are both so excited to take him home and help mom take care of him. We took them upstairs to play in the forever young zone. It was hard for them to leave
