Ogden Pioneer Days are always a big event. This year the Godfrey's invited us to the Rodeo. We even got VIP passes to eat in the cabin. It was so much fun even Ashlyn couldn't get enough of the bull riding. It was good to spend some time with the Godfrey's. Thanks for inviting us.
It was perfect weather. A small breeze with a huge rain cloud hanging around. Luckily it never dumped more than a drop or two and it didn't get too cold.
Ride 'em cow girl. (We just need boots and a buckle.)
My favorite event is barrel racing. Probably because it is the most normal (in my opinion) although I do enjoy all of the events. It just seems a little weird to see the tie down roping and I think bull riders have got to be crazy. Steer wrestling is just funny. Team roping is a little dry. Saddle bronc riding is right there with bull riding just not as crazy.
